Erika & Thomas' Dream Baby Shower

When the Godmother, approached us to design a luxury baby shower for Erika and Thomas’ soon-to-arrive baby Taylor, we knew this would be an event that exemplified elegance, sophistication, and heartfelt joy.
The stunning Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre provided an exquisite backdrop for this spring celebration. Blessed with perfect weather, natural light flooded through the venue's expansive windows, complementing our meticulously designed décor scheme of white and gold.
Our design team transformed the already beautiful hotel space into an heavenly experience of luxury and refinement. White hydrangeas and roses adorned every corner, their pristine beauty enhanced by sophisticated gold accents throughout the space. The effect was breathtaking – creating an atmosphere of elegance that perfectly honored the miracle of new life.
Working with Select Event Group, we curated a collection of luxury white and gold linens, premium tableware, and elegant chairs that elevated the entire aesthetic. Every detail was considered, from the placement of each floral arrangement to the precise fold of each napkin, creating a cohesive design that flowed seamlessly throughout the venue.
In true Cashmere Events fashion, we choreographed not one but two grand entrances for our radiant mother-to-be. Erika first appeared in a soft pink dress that perfectly complemented the décor while highlighting her maternal glow. For her second entrance, she stunned guests in a show-stopping gold ensemble that beautifully showcased her baby bump.
Family and friends arrived dressed in all white, creating a stunning visual harmony that symbolized the purity and promise of Taylor's arrival. This thoughtful dress code also served to highlight the coming together of two families, united in love and anticipation for the newest member of their blended family.
No luxury event is complete without exceptional desserts. Whimsy Cakes delivered a spectacular spread of delectable treats that were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Each dessert was artfully crafted to complement our white and gold theme, providing guests with both culinary and aesthetic pleasure.
For an added touch of exclusivity, we arranged for Don Rosario Cigars to provide premium handmade cigars flown in specially from Puerto Rico. This sophisticated offering created a memorable experience for guests who appreciated the finer things in life – perfectly aligned with the caliber of celebration we designed.
The atmosphere was electric throughout the event, as DJ Eli masterfully curated a soundtrack that kept the energy high while MC Tommy Gunz engaged the crowd with charismatic hosting. Guests danced the afternoon away, celebrating the joy of Erika and Thomas' journey into parenthood.
We pride ourselves on creating experiences that transcend the ordinary. For Erika and Thomas' baby shower, this meant attention to every detail – from the custom stationery by Posted Fete to the immaculate makeup artistry that ensured our mother-to-be looked and felt her absolute best.
The stunning balloon installations by Balloons All Around DMV added dimension and whimsy to our sophisticated design, while Max Powers Grafix provided custom staging and floor wrapping that transformed the very foundation of the space.
What made this event truly special wasn't just the luxurious décor or exclusive experiences – it was the unmistakable love filling the room. As Erika and Thomas celebrated with their dearest friends and family, we witnessed the beautiful blending of two families coming together in anticipation of baby Taylor's arrival.
