Packing Essentials:

  • Luggage: We know you’ve got limited space, but fear not, we’ve got your back. Make space for all your outfits and keep the weather from ruining your clothes with space saver bags and electric air pump small enough to pack and go.

  • Sun saver: Protect your eyes and skin with Sunhats and sunglasses

  • Liquid Love: To breeze through airport security, pack your toiletries 3 oz and less in a clear toiletry bag if carrying in a carry-on bag and remember to pack any liquid containers over 3.4 ounces in your checked luggage. We would hate the new bottle of expensive perfume tossed in the trash like toilet water.

  • Rainy Day Savior: Stay prepared and stylish! Tuck a small umbrella into your bag for those unexpected showers.

  • Immigration Pro: Smooth sailing through customs with a passport holder / travel document organizer and a blue or black pen in your carry-on bag to fill out immigration forms like a pro.

  • Health Heroes: Remember to pack prescription medications, as well as Tylenol, Pepto, vomiting meds, and Benadryl in a portable case.

Attire:

  • Light Clothes: Opt for lightweight attire that won’t weigh you down and keeps you feeling fabulous. Light sundresses and shorts are perfect for island chic attire. Guys, please pack a pair of long pants (linen is great) and a button-down shirt for nights of fine dining.

Electronics:

  • Charged Up: Remember your cell phone and watch charger to stay connected and on time. Keep those devices powered up extra power strip just in case there are limited outlets!

  • Extra Juice: Pack a portable battery charger to ensure your devices never run out of battery during those picture-perfect moments.

Excursions:

  • Call Tia at 443.908.1026 as soon as possible to secure availability and the best pricing for excursions and spa treatments. Don’t wait until you get to the resort, and don’t miss out on the fun!

  • Adventure-Ready Gear: If you’re up for thrilling ATV rides or similar excursions, pack clothes and shoes that can handle a little dirt and adventure. Leave your helmet at home, but we do recommend bringing protective riding goggles and a breathable neck bandana.

  • Don’t forget to bring your waterproof dry bag for your cell phone, money, and small essentials.

Other Travel Tips:

  • Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your return date. No passport panic allowed! Don’t have one…GET IT NOW!

  • Travel Documents: Make copies of all your travel documents, including: flight confirmations, passports, and proof of Covid vaccination (not required). It’s always wise to have backups.

  • Stay Connected: Avoid ridiculous international rates by calling your cell phone carrier to add a travel pass to your plan. We also advise downloading and using WhatsApp to stay connected with your loved ones at the resort and stateside for Wi-Fi calling.

  • Wi-Fi Upgrade: While there’s limited complimentary Wi-Fi at the resort in all public areas and room categories, consider upgrading to the Premium Wi-Fi for $79.95 for the week for better connectivity if you need to handle any business during your stay. Stay connected, stay productive!

  • Money Matters: Give your banking institutions a heads-up about your travel dates to minimize the chances of your credit or debit cards being declined for unusual activity. And hey, U.S. Dollars are widely accepted in most travel destinations, especially the Caribbeans, so there is no need to worry about currency exchange. When in doubt, call Tia to verify.

  • Weather Wisdom: Keep an eye on the weather forecast. Peak hurricane season for the Caribbean is from August through the end of October, with October experiencing the heaviest rainfall. Pack accordingly and stay prepared for any weather surprises, but don’t let that rain on your parade!

  • When you get to the resort, take a trip to the gift shop and grab a refillable souvenir bottle. Use while on the resort to refill your preferred beverage of choice and double up.

  • Picture-Perfect Moments: Take advantage of the complimentary professional photo sessions at the resort. Capture those precious memories and cherish them forever. Strike a pose and show off your love!

  • Jamaican Vibes: While marijuana is legal in Jamaica, we kindly remind you not to travel back to the States with it. Enjoy responsibly and respect the local laws.

  • Embrace the Adventure: Remember that you’re traveling to a developing country so some things we take for granted might not be as easily accessible in others. Embrace the local culture, be patient, and enjoy the unique experience.

  • Hydration: Remember this golden rule: DO NOT DRINK THE WATER! Unless you want bubble guts, stick to bottled water only to keep those destination wedding vibes strong, but do remember to hydrate!
